Description

Staff Development Program - Oct. 4, 2024 - Sept. 20, 2025. Mandatory monthly meetings, Nov. and April fundraiser events, plus two Mandatory 10-day camp sessions. Staff must commit to staffing both camps. Plan family vacations around camp sessions and staff meetings.

Registration for this schedule starts on 07/17/2024 and ends on 10/10/2024

Restrictions

Participants must be 12 years and 9 months to 17 years and 10 months old when the program starts.

Description

Youth Staff is a one-year commitment. The full weekend meetings are held at least once every month and include 2 extra mandatory fundraiser weekends in November and April. Staff must commit to attending BOTH 10-day summer sessions held in June and July.

To be eligible for Youth Staff, participants must be a minimum of 8th grade Sept. 1st and not yet 18 years old before Dec. 31st. The Directors may make exceptions.

Applicants must attend the INDABA & Interviews, Sept. 21st, 2024 and the Staff Development weekend Oct 4-6, 2024. A parent or guardian is required to attend the Family Orientation on Oct. 6 at 2:00 PM.

Applicants will be notified of their eligibility for an interview. Fees will be refunded if not chosen to join the Youth Staff.
